Interactive Mapping / Watershed Mappers
Watershed Mappers
The Watershed Mapper interface gives watershed associations the ability to disseminate geographic information about their watershed
over the Internet. This is accomplished through features such as a list of available data to view, a map
window, and a number of basic GIS tools. The list of available data allows the user to choose from a
number of GIS layers such as roads and streams, census data, and satellite imagery. The map window
allows the user to visualize these layers within their watershed and the basic GIS tools allow the
user to zoom, pan, and query the data.
