This image of Hurricane Erin was acquired by SeaWiFS/OrbView, on September 10, 2001. On the image, the hurricane is located north of Bermuda, and off the east coast of the U.S. Phytoplankton blooms can be seen over the Grand Banks and off the Jersey/Delaware shores.
